Our speed shop was founded in 2016 by John Farnham, who earned the nickname “Stretch” from his height of six foot eight inches.
His passion for hotrods was inspired by growing up with his dad’s collection of all varieties, ranging from an all original 1969 Charger R/T in Hemi Orange to the newer cars like a Ron Fellow edition C6 Z06. It was instant love!
Buying his first car when he was 17, a 1968 C10 long bed truck, John watched "Trucks!" religiously and was introduced to the LS swap.
Where it all started
At 22 years old, John worked out of a 1,200ft² two bay garage in Carson CA, where he built many cars on his own.
After shooting for the stars, he landed a 3,000ft² warehouse which he renovated himself
to attract a larger clientele. John has built his base with a strong belief in honesty, hard work, and understanding of the classic car anatomy.
In 2020, John and his wife, Taylor, had evolved the speed shop to our 7,500ft² building today with a full team and making waves.
We pride our shop on being set up for success for any build that comes through the door.
